COURSE PROPOSAL: Health Management Course at Lato Sensu postgraduate level distance modality, with the concept of specializing and qualifying higher level professionals in the health area, aiming at carrying out activities for the Management of Health Services, be they they are in public, private, third sector, general and specialized organizations, such as hospitals, clinics, laboratories, plan operators, health insurance, secretariats and the Ministry of Health.

COURSE OBJECTIVE: The course aims to: train managers to work in the administration of macro (government) and micro (organizational units) and in public health systems, providing adequate training to intervene in social, political and economic reality; enable the understanding of the specificities of health organizations, in the context of the needs of the populations and the area, with the domain of operationalization and application of management tools, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of health units and meeting the requirements and characteristics of the typology existing organizations; contribute to improving the management of activities performed by the different spheres of the Brazilian State, at the federal, state and municipal levels, with regard to the health area; and contribute for the public health manager to develop a strategic vision of the health business, based on a systematic and in-depth study of the administrative reality of his institution and the Unified Health System.

TARGET AUDIENCE: It is aimed at professionals who work or intend to work in the health market and who are looking for new knowledge and the development of new skills and competences. In this context, the course is aimed at graduated professionals or technologists in finance, radiology, accounting sciences, administration, law, economics, biomedicine, speech therapy, physiotherapy, medicine, dentistry, psychology, nutrition, nursing, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, biology, psychology , occupational therapy, engineering, pedagogy, social assistance and related areas, working in private organizations or public bodies, occupants or who intend to occupy managerial positions or who are interested in the area of ​​health management.
